High roller coaster-like track! No guard rails! No training wheels! It's such a fun game I can't believe there's not a newer version of this yet. Ever since playing and spending the time to master the courses of this game, I've soooo wanted to see a sequel or another game using the same gameplay philosophies. This game was a classic to which I compare all 'living on the edge' racing games to, and for which I've always wanted to see it in a "next gen" system. What a GREAT game! To fully appreciate this game, I think it helps to have played it "way back when." Newcomers probably don't see what all the hubbub is about, given today's racing games. Glancing at the amount of distance that separates you from him (or her) while trying not to crash. The adrenaline as you try to catch the computer-controlled car, or stay in front of it.
With no forgiveness for going too fast or too slow off a jump, or into a corner. I loved being high up, like on a roller coaster. This game rocked! One of my favorite Amiga 500 titles from long ago.
